Crest Project Management
Trusted

Building a brand to match the scale of its projects.
Crest Project Management came to Embark already punching above their weight. In just a few years, the Gold Coast project and cost management consultancy had delivered some of South-East Queensland’s largest developments, including high-rises worth hundreds of millions. But the brand told a different story. A DIY identity and a single page website read as small startup, not trusted partner, and in an industry where credibility is everything, that gap was costing them. Our role was to evolve the brand, reposition Crest through a complete messaging and identity system, and rebuild their website as a platform designed to rank, convert and scale.
Delivering at a level the brand couldn't show.
Crest's problem was never capability. Their directors bring deep expertise across project delivery, development and cost management, and the track record proves it. The brand simply hadn't been built with the same rigour as the business. The identity was DIY, the website squeezed every service onto one page, and the messaging didn't say what made them different. Against established national firms, that's a real cost. Developers and financiers judge fast, and a brand that looks improvised invites doubt before the first meeting. Crest needed to look like the firm their clients already knew them to be: structured, commercially disciplined and trusted with complex projects.
Evolution over reinvention.
The first strategic decision was what not to change. Crest had equity worth protecting: a name with meaning, an established tagline in Trusted to deliver, and relationships built on the values the brand already stood for. Through our Wayfinder framework, we led with strategy, sharpening the tone of voice and building a full messaging system covering positioning, brand promise and brand story. Rather than framing Crest as a promising young firm, we positioned them as the trusted partner combining corporate-scale capability with a personal, hands-on approach. Their project history backs the claim, and it turns their size into an advantage. Clients work directly with experienced directors, not account layers.
Sharpening the mark, keeping the meaning.
With strategy set, the identity became a disciplined evolution. The new Crest mark nods to the original, rebuilt with intent. Its interlocking forms carry three ideas: the puzzle, because every piece of a project must fit; the forward arrow, because progress doesn't move in circles; and the letter C, a mark of leadership and cohesion. Around it sits a full identity system built for a professional services firm operating at scale. A confident palette anchored by Project Blue, structured typography, and a visual language that holds up across capability documents, site signage, hi-vis and social. Deliberately restrained, because in an industry built on precision, the brand needed to feel engineered, not styled.
A website built to rank and ready to scale.
The website rebuild turned the new positioning into Crest's hardest working asset. Applying our Navigator framework, we restructured the site around how their clients actually search and buy. One cramped services overview became dedicated pages for every discipline, from project and development management to quantity surveying, superintendent services and financier reporting. Each page answers the questions developers and financiers are already asking, giving Crest a real SEO foundation while most competitors bury their expertise on a single page. And the architecture is built to grow, so as Crest expands into new sectors and services, new pages slot straight into the framework, no rebuild required.
The outcome: a young firm positioned to lead.
Crest Project Management now presents at the level it delivers. The brand carries the weight of the projects behind it, the messaging gives the team confident language for every pitch, and the website is set up to compete for search visibility against firms many times their size. Prospective clients now meet a consultancy that looks structured, established and trusted from the first click, shortening the path to the conversations where Crest's experience does the rest. This is no longer a brand the business has outgrown. It's a platform built for where they're headed.
Trusted. Considered. Built to deliver. Positioned to lead.
