Creating a memorable brand to make waves on social media.

PuraU came to us at the inception of their brand. With a range of product formulations and referencing competitor brands that were making waves on social media, they tasked us with creating a strong brand from which they could platform a viral social media presence. Our brief was to aim at the young health conscious female market, without entirely excluding the male market. In short, they really wanted to make a splash and needed our help to do so. And boy did they do so. Landing a deal to get their products on Woolworth shelves and making $250k in their first few months, PuraU was an instant sensation and the brand has only continued to grow exponentially since launch.

We were tasked with every element of the brand and product creation including logo, labels, packaging, stationery, email footers, marketing collateral and copywriting. Taking them through our brand strategy process, we helped them to establish their brand values, messaging, personality and positioning which shaped the direction of the approach we took with the design and wording on the products.

PuraU’s brand values included ‘feel good’, ‘playful’, ‘bold’ and ‘professional’ and both branding and packaging had to exude these qualities. We opted for a bright, soft gradient to grab attention on social media while setting the three steps apart.
